Obscure Movie Stills

Obscure Movie Scenes explores my fascination with cinema and the overlooked moments hidden inside it. Using fragments of dialogue and fleeting scenes, the paintings pull small cinematic moments out of their original context and give them new life and meaning. Each work is painted at 12 × 22 inches, a scaled-down movie screen that transforms fleeting scenes into intimate images.
